Youth basketball,
coached properly
Coached weekly sessions, real games, and a place on the court for every player who signs up.
A place for every child.
The House League is where young players start properly: coached weekly sessions, real games, and development that comes before the scoreboard.
There is no tryout and no cut list. Every child who signs up gets a place on the court. It is built for players who are just getting started, the same way Ukurikira keeps its courts open to anyone who shows up.
Players are grouped into six age groups so every session is coached at the right level. Here is how that works.
Six age groups, one rule
A child’s age group is set by their calendar year of birth, so nobody changes age group mid-season.
For example, in the 2026 season, that puts the 6-9 age group at children born between 2017 and 2020. The same rule sets every other age group, and a parent can work their own child’s age group out unaided.
